RUTH. started playing the guitar and singing as at an early age. Inspired by classic singer-songwriters, jazz musicians and indiepop artists, she soon began to write her own songs. Heartfelt emotions, carefully structured melodies and honest storytelling are all found in these intimate songs. The result is a collection of musical stories that deal with some of the most important topics in life: love, compassion, regret, joy, anger, sadness... Life in all its forms.

After releasing the self-produced single "Colours" and playing many different concerts, RUTH. started writing new songs, songs which show a more mature side with more jazzy and even psychedelic influences. Songs which scream for a bigger setting than her previous works.

This is something producer Stijn Debontridder managed to capture perfectly with RUTH's new EP "Inside Out" in the summer of 2022. An EP that combines virtuosity, creativity and warmth in three beautiful songs that blend in well, each showing a different side of RUTH.
